Twelve Nicaragua Jamaica is a rum blended by our cellar master. He selected and imported barrels in order to give them the benefit of additional aging, to ultimately assemble them and create this vintage. These molasses rums were distilled in a pot still for the Jamaican part, and in a column for the Nicaragua part. The aging has been partly tropical and a slight sweetening is carried out, at a rate of 7 grams per liter.

NICARAGUA JAMAICA
TASTING NOTES
VISUAL: gold
NOSE: on the nose, as is often the case, Jamaica dominates, with an intense and deep fruitiness that does not deceive. However, it is not aggressive in any way, since it is even creamy, and goes peacefully from ripe exotic fruits to crushed strawberries. With aeration, exotic fruits make an unexpected and pleasant marriage with minty freshness. This combination works wonderfully, and means that we follow the rum wherever it takes us, without resistance.
MOUTH: the mouth reveals a very soft, almost creamy texture. This attack is followed by a safe but quiet build-up of very ripe exotic fruits. The latter are round and fat, but they have the good idea of also having a slightly sharper side which gives them a little boost. The mid-palate is therefore even more tasty, with its hints of stone brandy, resin and almond. The finish is warm and tasty, it gives an almost sweet impression in the length, which is accompanied by licorice for a good while
